Bad Lab Beer Co. is making its first foray into brews in cans, getting ready to release Upper Narrows IPA and Blood Orange DIPA in cans Wednesday, Jan. 29.
According to general manager Evan Eppler, it is the first time BLBC has offered any of its beers in cans.
“This is an exciting development for us, as we continue to evolve to meet the needs of both returning and first-time guests,” he said. “Now, guests can not only enjoy a wonderful experience here, but bring it home, too.”
Made with azacca, chinook and amarillo hops, Upper Narrows is described by Bad Lab as “a hop forward New England IPA with a medium body balanced by sweet malts.”
Featuring amarillo, cascade, citra and nugget hops, Blood Orange DIPA takes Bad Lab’s flagship Skypunch DIPA and “gives it an extra juicy twist,” according to the company.
“We love our juicy IPAs, so we made the biggest, sweetest, most flavor packed beer with the addition of Blood Orange,” added Eppler.
Available in four-packs of 16-ounce cans, both beers will be available for purchase on site at BLBC at 460 High St. in Somersworth, where it has a brewpub and offers live music.
Eppler said Bad Lab will can more beers in the near future.
